Design of a Polymer Composition for the Conformance Control in Heterogeneous Reservoirs

The article is devoted to the issue of a low sweep efficiency in heterogeneous terrigenous reservoirs containing remaining oil. Water plugging operations that redirect injection fluid flows into unswept zones, are one approach enhancing oil recovery these reservoirs. commonly used chemical reagents treatments acrylate polymer solutions. solutions must reach target water-saturated zones and form strong gel barrier there. Furthermore, compositions should have initial viscosity provide good injectivity penetration ability. Therefore, methods adjusting gelation time necessary. There numerous studies modern scientific society study water-plugging compositions. However, aspects, such as effect hydrogen index on gelation, received insufficient attention. In this paper, we describe features developed composition, based hydrolyzed acrylonitrile with controlled for chemically enhanced recovery. component composition concentration levels were selected, alterations solution.
